Context-Menu incomplete if working tree is located on network share

What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Create a repository with some folders and sub-folders
- Modify a file under a sub-folder
- Right clic over the modified file, the tortoise functions (like diff) are missing
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Under the tortoise sub-menu, see the options like "Diff".
What version of TortoiseGit and msysgit are you using? On
what operating system?
Tortoise 1.8.5.0
Git 1.8.3.msysgit.0
Os Win8 pro x64
Please provide any additional information below.
The file right-clicked has been modified. With older versions of tortoisegit I see under the sub-menu the diff option (and others)
