Squash doesn't preserve original author date

When using command line "git rebase -i ..." and squashing a commit, the resulting commit preserves the original author date. However, TortoiseGit doesn't do that and uses the current date instead.
To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
