"Show Log" missing from context menu if "Shell Extended" and a file was Added but not committed

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Upgrade to tortoise git 1.8.3.0
2. Right click on git folder in windows 7 explorer to get context menu
3. try to find "Show Log" but not to be found anywhere
4. Check tgit settings to make sure "Show Log" is enabled in context menu. I enabled it in basic as well as extended menu
5. Right click on git folder in windows 7 explorer to get context menu
6. try to find "Show Log" but not to be found anywhere

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Able to find "Show Log" in basic context menu or extended context menu

What version of TortoiseGit and msysgit are you using? On
what operating system?
Windows 7 pro
TortoiseGit 1.8.3.0 (C:\Program Files\TortoiseGit\bin\TortoiseGitProc.exe)
git version 1.8.0.msysgit.0 (C:\Program Files (x86)\Git\bin)

Please provide any additional information below.
