Incorrect behavior if repo is located on root of drive

By josh3... on February 11, 2013 01:34 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Navigate to a repo located on the root of a drive (ie Z:).
  2. Right-click, TortoiseGit shows "Git commit submodule -> master" even though the repo has no submodules.
  3. Clicking commit shows an empty commit dialog, even though there are changes.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect normal commit flow.

What version of TortoiseGit and msysgit are you using? On
what operating system?
1.8.0.0 / 1.7.11.msysgit.1

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
