Frequent crashes when searching log

By mik... on December 05, 2012 13:37 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. View log of a large repository with all branches ticked
  2. While it's loading, type something into the search box at the top
  3. Observe the program crashes "Tortoise Git has stopped working..."

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

It not to crash.

What version of TortoiseGit and msysgit are you using? On
what operating system?

1.7.15
msysgit 1.7.10
Windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.

4 separate people in my department have now complained about this crashing. I can make it crash pretty much at will.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
