Option to fetch when adding a remote

What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Add a remote through Settings page
- Try to switch/checkout from a branch on that remote
- Notice the remote you just added is not listed under "remotes".
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output: the remote would be listed, but no branches filled in, and some text saying "You need to fetch / remote update from this remote before branching"
Alternatively (or aswell as), when I add a remote, perhaps a popup dialog "Would you like to fetch remote branch info?"
This would be equivalent to the -f option from git-remote command line, which automatically fetches after adding a remote.
What version of TortoiseGit and msysgit are you using? On
what operating system?
1.7.13
1.7.10.1
Win7
