Pageant is not auto-loaded if using multiple remotes (some without keys)

By Jake.St... on September 04, 2012 18:02 (imported from Google Code)

tgit v.1.7.12, Windows x64:

  1. Add multiple remotes to a checkout, one with a putty key, the others without.
  2. Name them such that the one that has a putty key comes 2nd or later.
  3. Remote Update.

Pageant fails to load for the second remote which requires a putty key. The bug can be avoided two ways: a) rename the remotes such that the one requiring a key is listed first. b) add the putty key to the other remote(s), even though they do not need one.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
