Log window does not always remember column order correctly

By jayjoe...@yahoo.com on August 28, 2012 21:23 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Open Tortoise Git Log window.
  2. Right-click in list box header and turn on display of SHA-1 column.
  3. Drag SHA-1 column to a different location (say, to the right of "Message" column.) Or, any other non-default column ordering.
  4. "OK" log window.
  5. Re-open log window.

What is the expected output?
The column ordering should stay as I left it.

What do you see instead?
The columns are restored to default order.

What version of TortoiseGit and msysgit are you using? On
what operating system?
TG 1.7.12.0
Msysgit 1.7.11
Win XP 32bit (SP3)

Please provide any additional information below.
The column ordering is reset (incorrect), but the column widths and which columns are chosen for display are retained (correct).

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
