Proxy Authentification fails

By tobias.vantreeck%nepatec...@gtempaccount.com on August 13, 2009 08:02 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Rightklick -> TortoiseGit->Settings->Network
  2. Enable Proxy Server and input proxy, port, user, password
  3. try to clone (check out) a project

What is the expected output?
To be able to make a connection to a github / git server

What do you see instead?

Initialized empty Git repository in D:...
error: The requested URL returned error: 407 while accessing
http://github.com/someproject
fatal: HTTP request failed

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
TortoiseGit-0.9.1.0 and git version 1.6.4.msysgit.0, using windows XP 32Bit

Please provide any additional information below.
The network settings are taken from tortiseSVN but it is not possible to
edit the server file. In tortoiseSVN the access is working...

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
