Ignore by mask work recursively

By Aleksey.Vase... on June 15, 2012 16:33 (imported from Google Code)

  1. Ignore some file by extension
  2. In .gitignore will be written *.ext
  3. This ignore files with *.ext in subfolders also

But when ignore by file name, file will be ignored in current folder only.
I think that both must work similar.

May be add more items in ignore list like:
Ignore *.ext
Ignore *.ext recursively
Ignore name.ext
Ignore name.ext recursively

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
