Garbage text in "Git Command Progress" / suspected buffer overflow

By vvatas... on July 22, 2009 21:02 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Add and Commit huge amount of files +3000.After status line number 120 I
get random symbols, maybe buffer overflow. Also the dialog waits
indefinitely , although the commit is successful to git, it never get
signal from git.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Listing of committed files and enabled "Close" button at the end of the
git's commit.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest - TortoiseGit-0.8.1.0-32bit.msi ,but the problem have been present
in previous versions.
