branch name does not get updated in show log

By tstone2... on April 18, 2012 22:37 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. While in 'master', open 'Show Log'
  2. keeping 'Show log' open, change the branch in the repository (git checkout otherbranch or using TGit->switch/checkout)
  3. In the 'Show Log' that was opened from master, press F5 to refresh

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the branch name in the upper left corner of the 'Show log' dialog to show the new branch. Currently, the log messages list updates to the new branch, but the branch link in the upper left-hand corner still shows the old branch.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.7.6.0 and 1.7.8.0, both on Windows 7 x64

Please provide any additional information below.
Clicking on the branch name does open the correct branch reference.
