"Whole project" checkbox in commit dialog selects all files

By parshin.alexan... on April 16, 2012 07:27 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Open "Commit" dialog. I have several files in "Not Versioned" section, all unselected (by default)
  2. Click on "Whole project" checkbox
  3. All not versioned files become selected to commit

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect that "whole project" checkbox doesn't effect files selection, only changes list of files in commit dialog. In my test case all unselected files should stay unselected.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
32-bit TortoiseGit 1.7.8.0
git version 1.7.3.1.msysgit.0
Windows XP Professional
