Add Fetch/Pull operations in Show Log window

By jdepet... on April 13, 2012 21:55 (imported from Google Code)

Currently, you can do every day tasks in the Log window such as commit, push, merge, checkout, create new branch, etc. But you cannot do a fech or pull.

For these you have to switch to a Windows Explorer, locate your git working directory, right click anywhere on that window, select TortoiseGit and then Fetch (or Pull). And if you have to do the pull over a different branch you have to first swith to that branch (and that's even more steps).

I think these are too many additional steps if you are confortable using the Log window.

My suggestion is to add Fetch and Pull options on the context menu you get when you right-click on the history of Log window. This should show the same Fetch/Pull windows you get right now from the Windows Explorer.

Thanks
