Log window should refresh automatically after reset --hard

By cod...@stebich.de on February 01, 2012 07:15 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. View log in a repo with changes
  2. Right click on the HEAD and do 'Reset to this ...' then select Hard and OK

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected that the log view detects the reset itself and the 'Working dir changes' line show a clean repo.
But when I select the 'Working dir changes' line I still see the changed files as it was before the reset. This is confusing because one can't know if the reset failed or the log view is wrong.
A refresh in the log view resolve this issue.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
TortoiseGit 1.7.6.0
git version 1.7.8.msysgit.0
Win XP Pro SP3
