commit freezes after click on ok with a lot of files

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. when i commit my changes from git commit->"master" on click the right
    button of the mouse there're no response. but it final response about 10 mins later. i have commit 65 files. Are there too many files?
    but i've used tortise svn before it seems more faster.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
i'am using 1.7.5 on windows with msysgit
