UTF-8 support

By kaoru.yanase20050... on June 23, 2009 14:34 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Create a file with UTF-8 filename in UNIX environment (CentOS 5), and
    commit to a repository.
  2. Clone repository using TortoiseGIT.
  3. Open cloned directory, then see files with broken filename.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Human-readable filename.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
TortoiseGit 0.7.2.0 64bit
Windows Vista (64bit) Japanese

Please provide any additional information below.
Japanese log message aren't broken, only filename.
I think we need to use UNICODE version Win32 API / functions.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
