Strangle: fatal error: cannot find real dlsym: (null)

Steam games where I use a strangle 60 %command% launch options or most other, non-wine too, programs fail to launch.

When I do:

strangle 40 lutris

I get this error:

Strangle: fatal error: cannot find real dlsym: (null) Aborted

What I tried: updating libstrangle, doing a clean install, updating the system (gentoo) and then reinstalling the app, made sure it is up to date and on master branch.
