Opening bags = disconnect in MAC TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Post-patch, any time I have opened my bags, it's flagged several items in my bags as quest items (which they aren't) and immediately disconnected me from the servers back to my desktop. Anyone else? Any ideas on fixes?

Seems 7.2.5 has new tooltip bugs on mac client. DC or outright crash. deleting cache folder might make it better but I haven't had luck getting tooltips to work at all, i'm having to disable them to keep client from crashing. the 7.2 tooltip bugs seem hella worse in 7.2.5

Hey all,
We are working to get the cause of these crashes fixed as soon as possible. I do not have an ETA just yet. In the meantime, disabling the tooltips even though it is not ideal can help stop the crashes till the fix is out.
Disable Tooltips In in-game chat type:
/run GameTooltip:SetScript("OnShow",GameTooltip_Hide)
Enable Toolstips In in-game chat type:
/run GameTooltip:SetScript("OnShow",nil)

Update, disabling "Can I Mog It" can completely eliminate the issue for now if it's installed/enabled.
I've been working with debugging issues and have found this particular mod is a HUGE catalyst for the new bug. It's not mod or mod authors fault, their mod just manages to find the bug REALLY fast. :)

Disable "Can I Mog It"
it's catalyst for crashes right now. It' s not mods fault but it inadvertently triggers a new bug in 7.2.5
Multiple users reporting crashing with addon disabled.

Ok, after you disable the addon, another step may be needed, you may still have corrupt tooltip cache.
delete cache folder from within wow directory then try again.
I'm not sure if other mods affect bug or not, possible (probably likley) but if you've disabled mods and still get it, make sure to wipe cache.
More users reporting in that they crash even after clearing cache and not running addons.
Omegal
Yeah I've talked with devs, crash still happens with other mods too, or even no mods. Just certain mods make it FAR more frequent. It's still being worked on so it's fixed for everyone soon.
