Discovering yeelights... >> No Bulbs found. (Yeelight 1s)

set up everything as per instructions but when running the configuration script no lightbulbs are found.

i have three (of the newer) Yeelight 1s lightbulbs connected to the network. Lan control is enabled in the Yeelight App all of them are turned on. I can ping their IP adresses on the local network and other tools (yeelight toolbox etc) can access the bulbs via LAN.

No Bulbs found. Please turn on all RGB Yeelight devices you want to use. Connect them to the same network. Set them to LAN mode in your yeelight app and try again.

could it be a problem with the newer Yeelight 1s device itself not being supported? Is it possible to add them manually (i would try to edit an existing .json configuration file if you could provide one i just don't know how to write it from scratch)?
