# :beetle: Bug Report Metadata scrapper for imdb not working poroperly after last update ## :bug: Summary When Searching with imdb scrapper not showing any results unless the direct link page is provided, and the metada comes incomplete either cant see actors and cast some some series with several episodes wont write any metadata _Example: "The app crashes when exporting a file with special characters in the name."_ ## :chart_with_upwards_trend: What is the expected behavior? to see at least some options based on the file name and scrape the metadata out of imdb af with the other scrappers _Example: "The file should export correctly regardless of filename characters."_ ## :face_with_monocle: Actual Behavior When Searching with imdb not showing any results unless the direct link page is provided _Example: "The application closes immediately without saving the file."_ ## :recycle: Steps to reproduce: <!--How do we reproduce the bug? We cannot do that any longer, and will probably close your issue. Creating such file is easy - just click the wrench icon in bottom left. Best done after a fresh TMM start, reproducing your problem once again, so the logfile will be just as small as needed.
