Bulk renamer preserving original filename

What is the actual behavior?

Must rename every single file one by one to preserve the original filename in the nfo.

What is the expected behavior?

Have a bulk rename utility that only renamed "virtually" for the sole purpose or scraping, thus retaining the original filenames.

Basically an option to combine a renamer and scraper into one window/operation. This way the renaming is just held in memory for the sole purpose of scraping.

The actual issue to solve

TVDB & TMDB have been on two separate paths when it comes to the handling of seasons for Anime and Donghua. In general, TVDB tries to maintain the normal season structure one would expect, while TMDB generally opts to cram everything as a single continuous season. (neither are always this way) Both have their merits, but no matter which you use, you are at the mercy of the original filenames, and which system they were named after. Trying to convert one to the other while maintain the original filenames can be extremely laborious. Each file can can be up to 7 clicks or more depending on the situation.

I use both scrapers depending on the situation, which adds another level complexity since there is no obvious way to determine which scraper was used originally. I really wish there was a place to display the icon of the scraper used (per show/season/episode?), so it was obvious when adding episodes later.

I know this is a wishlist type of request, but the amount of time this would save is enormous. Thanks for your consideration.
