The original Merge Request author is no longer involved in the project, or for another reason cannot/will not work on the MR further. So this MR needs to be taken over by another developer to proceed.

This is for 1- merge requests that are branch-specific, and should not be front-ported to master and 2- merge requests in master that are explicitly not anticipated to be backported (mostly useful during branch stabilization periods)

To be backported to all supported branches up to 21.xLTS (Security fixes only, EOL 2025-03)

To be backported to all supported branches up to 24.xLTS (Regular feature support at least at least until 2024-03, EOL 2027-03)

To be backported to 26.x only (Supported until the release of 27.1)

For merge requests done directly on a branch (not the common case). Means it needs to be cherry-picked into the master branch (so actually a forwardport, not a backport)
