Campaign for version 1.0 release announcement

What

TGDP is working toward releasing version 1.0 of our templates. Let's define what we want our message to be, our primary aims, what the campaign might look like and how long it will run for.

Scope

• When should we announce the news? Sometimes after Capilano? Will this issue become a Dragon release item?
• How should we announce the news? Social media channels (Twitter plus LinkedIn), blog post, WTD conference, developer conferences? Will we take more pro-active steps like "cold-calling" open source teams, meetups, developer user groups?
• What is the aim, what outcome do we want? To increase our userbase. To increase awareness of the existence of our product. Do we want to invite feedback? If so, how will we receive it? See issue governance#68 (moved) Feedback
