Sandboxing - Invalid_argument P2p_version.best
I am playing around with a sandboxed tezos node but I cant get tezos-client to work inside the most recent tezos/tezos:mainnet image started with:
~ $ sudo tezos-node identity generate
....
...
~ $ sudo tezos-node run --sandbox --data-dir=/chain --rpc-addr localhost:8732
Jan 8 11:42:58 - node.main: Starting the Tezos node...
Jan 8 11:42:58 - node.worker: P2P layer is disabled
Jan 8 11:42:58 - validator.block: Worker started
Jan 8 11:42:58 - node.validator: activate chain NetXdQprcVkpaWU
Jan 8 11:42:58 - validator.chain(1): Worker started for NetXdQprcVkpa
Jan 8 11:42:58 - node.chain_validator: no prevalidator filter found for protocol 'Ps9mPmXaRzmz'
Jan 8 11:42:58 - prevalidator.NetXdQprcVkpa.Ps9mPmXaRzmz(1): Worker started for NetXdQprcVkpa.Ps9mPmXaRzmz
Jan 8 11:42:58 - node.main: Starting a RPC server listening on ::ffff:127.0.0.1:8732.
Jan 8 11:42:58 - node.main: Starting a RPC server listening on ::1:8732.
and then in the same container ( with node running ) try to do tezos-client calls:
~ $ sudo wget http://localhost:8732/chains/main/blocks
Connecting to localhost:8732 (127.0.0.1:8732)
blocks 100% |*******************************************************************| 58 0:00:00 ETA
~ $
~ $ tezos-client -A localhost rpc get /chains/main/blocks
Fatal error:
(Invalid_argument P2p_version.best)
Does anyone know how i can get the tezos.client to work, or what the error message "Invalid_argument P2p_version.best" means exactly?
Thanks
