Changes made for the ADC project
Nearly all the changes are to allow the user to provide a custom communicator for constructing the Distribution object, instead of defaulting to MPI_COMM_WORLD.
The 17.0 major release is coming on May 16, 2024! This version brings many exciting improvements to GitLab, but also removes some deprecated features.
