Display the DUE time, converted to local time
My timezone is UTC+3. A read-only task with:
DUE:20221021T215900Z
is rendered by jtx Board 2.00.03-rc01.ose as:
Due: Friday, 21 October 2022 21:59:00 UTC
The Created field at the bottom is converted to local time.
DUE shall also be converted to local time, so that the user can more easily interpret it.
The task is published with DUE:…Z because it is not known in which timezones the task will be read, this is less data than using TZID= and semantically the meaning is the same as if TZID=Europe/Sofia was used.
Evolution does show DUE converted to local time. In Thunderbird the local time of DUE is always shown, the original (UTC) time is displayed additionally in some views.
