New release planned: v10.1.2

This is to inform the community that a new release is being prepared.

This is a bugfix/patch release. There two changes: fix event properties ignored when subscribing to change/archive events (!954 (merged)) and fix DevVoid decorated commands (!945 (merged))

Task list:

  • Read steps in the how-to-contribute docs for making a release
  • Merge request to update changelog and bump version
  • Merge MR (this is the last MR for the release)
  • Create an annotated tag from maintenance/10.1.x branch
  • Check the new version was automatically uploaded to PyPI
  • Make sure the documentation is updated for release (readthedocs)
  • Fill in the release description on GitLab
  • Build conda packages
  • Advertise the release on the mailing list
