Here, open source software is made available for the processing of small archaeological artefacts, which are increasingly being acquired in 3D. Historically, it started with the repositories of the Forensic Computational Geometry Laboratory (FCGL) including https://gigamesh.eu, formerly at the Universities of Heidelberg and Halle, now at the FU Berlin as well as the University of Applied Science Mainz.
