Evolution address book does not work

Installed is 2.1.6-0tabos2~focal from the dschaerf PPA on Ubuntu 20.04. I can not configure which address book is used for Roger Router and the look up does not work, neither in the journal nor contacts. It did not work with flatpack version in the past, either. Is this a sandbox problem?
