Dire firmware situation

The image has become bloated. It really is. This is especially true with the addition of the NVIDIA firmware.

I've been thinking about several approaches to deal with it. I hope to see at least some of them implemented.

• Move the firmware from airootfs.sfs to ROOT/firmware. This way, you can edit the ISO to make it smaller.
• Offer an image without firmware at all and try to load the firmware from the BOOT_PARTITION/firmware directory or from any disk containing the firmware directory.
• Something else entirely?
