storing/handling dayX configs

We see with different vendors different types of storing dayX configs.

a) configmaps, but configs are often bigger than configmaps can handle it.

b) scripts which are deploying it via cli commands etc.

c) Yang files import etc

we need a proposal how ig configs can be handled in kubernetes via git also in the daily work.
