Subplot is in not in Debian unstable

This issue tracks what we need to for Subplot to be ready to be packaged for Debian unstable.

  • Find a maintainer who is not Lars or Daniel
  • We should be confident we are not likely to make breaking changes
  • Whatever version goes into Debian we should feel comfortable supporting for the lifecycle of a Debian release
