Add rendering support for semi-transparent bonds
Currently, OVITO supports only semi-transparent particles (controlled by the Transparency
particle property) and semi-transparent surface meshes.
As a first step, I propose to add rendering support for semi-transparent bonds to the software-based renderers only (Tachyon, OSPRay). Realtime OpenGL-based rendering of semi-transparent bonds requires improving the rendering system and is a long-term goal.
