Better installation docs
I've gone through the readme.md setup docs, and have gotten to the point where I can deploy with Docker and bring up the home page in the browser, but from here, I'm stuck. To set up my very own, public-on-the-web instance of the service, I need to know
- How do I configure the database connection (mainly the URL/credentials but maybe additional information for non-pgsql databases as well)?
- How do I create the database schema and initialize it with any needed static data?
- How do I configure my Mailgun credentials?
- What email addresses do I need to have configured in order to receive responses from the spammers, and how do I set this up at Mailgun?
- How do I configure the needed webhooks at Mailgun?
- How do I set up Mailgun for SPF and DKIM using my domain?
- How do I configure my domain name in the service? What subdomains are required and how should they be mapped in Django?
- Where are the canned responses? I don't see them in the source tree. Where should I put them in the deployment image?
- Where can I get the static mnesty.com site assets and what are the instructions for deploying them elsewhere?
That's what comes to mind, but there are probably other things that will become apparent as people go through the exercise of setting up an instance. I suspect that some spammers may be wise to the mnesty.com domain by now, therefore the more people who can set up their own instances and domains, the better. Turn-key docs would make doing so a lot easier. Maybe there are modifications to the Docker configuration that will make things easier too?
