      Stdin reads from /dev/zero and thus only reads 0-bytes.
      Stdout and stderr are both redirected to /dev/null.
      
      These redirections are only applied if using `bin/prtest`,
      but the compiled test generator still allows arbitrary usage
      of these streams.
      
      The tests submitted with this commit should not be simplified
      to only use subprocess: The timeout-procedures of subprocess
      only work reliably on python 3.7.5 and later because of a known bug
      in the subprocessing module of python in prior versions:
