Kernel should use a linker script
I'm using a hacky approach right now that has worked since forever. I probably don't want to rely on that. Switch to a real linker script.
Complication: The kernel uses too many ABI features that a simple linker script won't do. The few times I tried, this was a serious issue, and the kernel didn't link properly/boot. I should put my cross ld in verbose mode so it outputs its linker script, then hand edit that into what I want.
