Collisions not detected after sprite:set_xy()

If an enemy generates multiple sprites without knowing their location (calculated on runtime), if you do by example
local sprite = enemy:create_sprite('big_attack')
sprite:set_xy(-20, -20)
The sprite collision is not detected because of the set_xy() and the hero can pass thru it without taking damages.
