List of Inaccurate/Unimplemented Enemies
Note that for every enemy on this list that lacks sprites in the repository (or poses for the action that is missing, such as Blind's flying heads), I will gladly submit pull requests adding those sprites. Please refer to an ALTTP disassembly for exact information (I am not sure if I can legally link one), but this should give the gist of what the enemies should be like. The ALTTP Practice Hack is also useful to study enemy behaviour empirically. For bosses, "only chase" is a shorthand for that the boss only follows Link around in Solarus, instead of doing their more complex and varied pattern from ALTTP.
A few recommended functions:
-
Shock: A harm type where Link is shocked for a bit before getting pushed back. Used in Agahnim, Buzz Blob/Cukeman, and Baris/Biris -
Turn Into Slime: Turns into the Slime enemy that acts like a Zol. Used for a lot of enemies when you sprinkle magic powder onto them.
Now onto the existing stuff
-
Soldier Library: Mostly good, but both Link and the soldier should get pushed back a bit. Also, might I recommend a function where all big sword soldiers can immediately pause to look at Link and then run towards him if they hear a certain sound? You see it in LTTP if you hit one of their swords, poke a solid wall with your sword, hit a solid wall with the boomerang, or bonk into a wall with the Pegasus Boots Bosses -
Agahnim: Should teleport around three times, randomly shooting a fireball or a trap ice ball that splits into 6 blue fireballs in a hexagonal pattern when struck. Teleports to the top of the room, then shoots lightning, then repeat. Shocks Link if hit with the sword directly -
Agahnim 2 (Ganon's Tower): Missing -
Armos Knights: only chase -
Arrghus: only chase -
Blind the Thief: only chase -
Ganon: only chase -
Helmasaur King: only chase -
Lanmola(s): Missing -
Kholdstare: only chase -
Moldorm -
Mothula: only chase -
Trinexx: Missing -
Vitreous: only chase Dark World -
Dacto: Missing (reuses Crow code) -
Hinox: Should walk around at random in 4 directions, sometimes throwing bombs. Halts before changing direction. If it sees Link, it rushes at him for a while in a straight direction (not 360 degrees). If it is hurt at all, it throws a bomb in the closest of the 4 facing directions that Link is in. -
Hyu: Missing (reuses Poe code) -
Ku: Missing (reuses Zora Underwater code) -
Lynel -
Moblin: Should walk around at random in 4 directions, sometimes throwing spears. Halts before changing direction. -
Pikit (Like Like): Missing -
Pikku (Keaton): Missing (Reuses Thief code) -
Ropa: Makes two short hops in 360 degrees at Link, then one big hop. Then repeat. -
Slarok: Missing (Reuses 1-shot Octorok code) -
Snap Dragon -
Stal: The movement seems accurate, but it can be hurt by pretty much anything, not just the hammer. -
Taros (Blue) -
Taros (Red) -
Zirro (Blue): Missing -
Zirro (Green): Missing Dungeons -
Babusu: Missing -
Bari (Blue): Should wander about randomly, randomly deciding to electrocute itself. If Link hits it with his sword while it is electrocuting itself, he gets shocked and takes damage. -
Bari (Orange): Missing -
Biri (Orange Bari's Two Children): Missing -
Buzz (Bazu) -
Chain Chomp: Missing -
Chasupa: Close, but should sleep again after Link goes far away enough. It also has a circle-like movement. -
Devalant (Blue): Missing -
Devalant (Red): Missing -
Eyegore (Green): Should sleep until Link gets near, then plays a waking up animation while stationary, then chases him in 4 directions until a while later when it falls back asleep. -
Eyegore (Red): The same as above, but is only vulnerable to the arrow. 2 normal, 1 silver -
Freezor: Hides in the wall, then when Link is vertically below it, starts shaking and moves downward, chasing him in 4 directions. It has a noticeably faster speed when moving horizontally. All attacks except those that harm it just knock it back and make it pause for a moment. Instantly melts with the Fire Rod or Bombos. -
Gibdo: Walks for a while, then turns to face Link with a unique animation. Similar to an Eyegore but always awake. -
Gibo: Missing -
Goriya (Green): Mimics Link's movements. Moves down when he moves up, and vice versa. Moves left when he moves left, and vice versa. -
Goriya (Red): A different kind of mimic. Vertically the same as the Green Goriya. Moves right when Link moves left, and moves left when Link moves right. When Link is in its sight, it shoots a fireball at him. After a waiting period, if Link is in its sight again, it shoots again. Only vulnerable to three normal arrows or one silver. -
Hardhat Beetle (Blue) -
Hardhat Beetle (Red) -
Helmasaur: Slowly accelerates towards Link in 360 degrees with a max speed, and has a slow turning speed, as though on ice. When hit, its speed resets. Can only be harmed from behind. Similar to a Hardhat Beetle, both it and Link are knocked back quite a ways when he hits the front with his sword or hammer. -
Hokkubokku (Pokey): Missing -
Keese: See Chasupa above, they are the same enemy basically. -
Kodongo (Green): Missing -
Kodongo (Red): Missing -
Kyameron: Missing -
Leever (Green): Missing -
Leever (Purple): Missing -
Mini-Moldorm: Missing -
Pengator: Starts facing at Link, and moves slowly accelerating with a max speed, as though on ice, until it hits a wall, then picks another random cardinal direction to move. When it sees Link, it jumps and belly slides at him, resetting its acceleration but has a higher max speed in this state, until it hits a wall, then goes back to the walk state. -
Pike_Auto: Move to Traps, see also note about Link knockback when he hits a trap with his sword or hammer. -
Pirogosu Spawner (Left): Missing -
Pirogosu Spawner (Right): Missing -
Pirogosu Spawner (Up): Missing -
Pirogosu Spawner (Down): Missing -
Popo: Just sort of makes tiny hops around in the 4 diagonal directions randomly. -
Rat -
Rope (Grey): Meanders around randomly in the 4 cardinal directions until it sees Link, then it rushes at him with greater speed. After a while, if Link is no longer in its view, it goes back to normal. -
Sluggula: Missing -
Stalfos (Blue): Close, but it hops away if Link's sword or hammer is detected near it. Also, it can actually reverse direction too instead of just left or right. -
Stalfos (Red): Reuses Blue Stalfos code, but after it hops, it throws a 360 degree bone at him that "clinks" away when it touches a solid. -
Stalfos (Falling in Eastern and Dark Palaces; Grey in Eastern and Yellow in Dark): Missing -
Stalfos Head (Green in Misery Mire and Orange in Turtle Rock): Missing -
Stalfos Knight: Missing -
Skullrope: Same as other Rope, see above. -
Terrorpin: Missing -
Wallmaster: Almost, but has the fiendish quality of being spawned on a timer in any room containing a Wallmaster, even if Link killed the previous Wallmaster that fell. -
Water Tektite: Missing -
Wizzrobe (Blue) -
Wizzrobe (Green) -
Wizzrobe (Blue) 4-spawner (seen in Misery Mire and Ganon's Tower, where a Wizzrobe is generated close by to Link one by one in a plus shape): Missing -
Zazak (Blue): Should act almost EXACTLY like the current Blue Stalfos, because it moves similarly but cannot jump. The only addition is that it can reverse direction as well as left and right. -
Zazak (Red): Missing -
Wizzrobe (Green) 4-spawner: See above -
Zol (Green): Missing -
Zol (Red): Missing -
Zol (Yellow): Missing) -
Zoro Spawner (from a vertically-bombed wall after it is bombed): Missing Light World -
Armos -
Bee swarm when dashed into a tree with Pegasus Boots or used Quake: Missing -
Buzz Blob (+ Cukeman): Missing -
Cucco (Chicken) -
Crow: Missing -
Deadrock -
Geldman: When its spawn point is gotten near, it emerges from the ground and dashes 360 degrees at Link. After a while, it will re-submerge. I am not quite sure yet whether its new spawn point is set to where it submerges, or whether it always spawns from the same place. -
Hoarder (disguised as a bush): Missing -
Hoarder (disguised as a rock): Missing -
Hoarder (from underneath a 2x2 rock): Missing -
Octoballoon: Missing -
Octoballoon Baby: Missing -
Octorok (1-shot) -
Octorok (shoots in 4 ways clockwise, starting from its current facing direction): Missing -
Poe: Should just swoop around in an infinity like pattern. Hurting it keeps it in its current position on the infinity pattern but still gets knockback... try it out. -
Sand Crab: Meanders about randomly in 4 directions, and moves faster when moving left or right. -
Tektite (Blue): Missing -
Tektite (Red): Missing -
Thief: Missing -
Toppo: Missing -
Vulture -
Zora: Jumps out of a puddle of water on the ground and then starts chasing Link while slowly accelerating, like a Hardhat Beetle. But when it gets hit or stunned with boomerang, it is put into a stunned state for about 10 seconds before hopping and awakening. During this time, Link can pick up and throw it, but watch out, it can still awake. -
Zora Underwater Soldiers -
Ball and Chain (Grey): Missing -
Ball and Chain (Gold): Missing -
Bomb: Missing -
Bow (Walking, Lynel like): Missing -

Spear (Hiding in Grass): Missing -
Sword (Blue) (behaves similar to Stalfos until it spots Link, then runs banzai at him) -
