Small things

  • Filename is Chilanka.ttf but should be Chilanka-Regular.ttf

  • Name record 0 is Digitized data copyright (c) 2014-2016, Santhosh Thottingal, Kavya Manohar, Swathanthra Malayalam Computing(http://smc.org.in). but it should be Copyright 2014 The Chilanka Project Authors (http://smc.org.in). and AUTHORS.txt and CONTRIBUTORS.txt files added to the repo

  • Name record 5 ("version") is 1.2.0. But semver.org versioning doesn't work well with fonts because the head.fontRevision only accepts a X.Y float. And that value is 6.0. So I think it should be set to 6.001 or higher in both 'head' and 'name'

  • Name record 6 ("ps name") is Chilanka but should be Chilanka-Regular

  • Name record 9 ("Designer") is Santhosh Thottingal <santhosh.thottingal@gmail.com> but since not all systems for HTML entity composition, it should be Santhosh Thottingal (santhosh.thottingal@gmail.com) (or no email address included at all)

  • Name record 12 is http://thottingal.in/ but should be http://thottingal.in

  • Name record 13 should save space by only being the following only: This Font Software is licensed under the SIL Open Font License, Version 1.1. This license is available with a FAQ at: http://scripts.sil.org/OFL

  • Name records 16 and 17 are not needed in a Regular style font.

  • An FFTM table is included, it should not be.

  • OS/2.achVendID was not set (FontForge default PfEd was used), I suggest using SMC and registering it at https://www.microsoft.com/typography/links/vendorlist.aspx
