Organisation of groups - groups categories

Once we have drafted a complex pattern, we have a lot of groups at the end. More often this is not very readable and not very comfortable to use. What about being able to sort / organize / classify these groups into categories ? For example, construction objects, base, rotations, darts, etc. (custom categories defined by the user at will).
