DE become non-responsive when viewing footnotes

Several people including myself are able to re-produce this issue. Open an ILO dataflow with many footnotes (asterisks in cells), mouse hover on asterisks pops out the footnotes. Keep doing this in different cells for a moment, the table will become non-responsive at one point. Although it's random on how long it takes to "freeze" the table, it's not too difficult to reproduce the issue.

Steps to reproduce

Reproducing the issue is very random, on this dataflow for instance, using Chrome, after moving the mouse over random 20 or 30 cells with footnotes, the whole web browser page freezes and no action is possible anymore.
