Solve issue #132 (closed)

• I couldn't find a way to get the latest release/releases (I'm pointing to tags)
• I have not tested the fetchTarball (even if wget'ing the link works)

There are 2 "extra" commit (one to remove github even from examples, one two clean two whitespaces) that I can remove if not needed
