Can't export the individual sensor files larger than 250 MB

When I try to use the floppy disk save icon for a recording that has a sensor file larger than 250 MB, I get the following error:

Exception on Exporting file Failed to allocate a 268627488 byte allocation with 9423133 free bytes and 246MB until OOM, target footprint 18911805, growth limit 268435456

It saves the other sensor JSON files that aren't over 250 MB, but skips the one that was too large.

Not a huge deal, as I can work around this usually, but ideally it would maybe save as multiple JSON files smaller than 250 MB or just remove that limitation altogether, if possible.

The reason this would be nice is to have high frequency (short interval) accelerometer data for a whole day of moving around without needing to stop and stop/start multiple times throughout the day.
