Deleting messages from recievers' apps not guaranteed
In "Tactics Guides 02 - Communication 03 Use messaging apps more securely" under "[Set messages to automatically disappear or delete your chat history regularly](https://gitlab.com/securityinabox/securityinabox.gitlab.io/-/tree/545f30cde72f9802eda872778e0896a306d9d420/src/communication/secure-chat#set-messages-to-automatically-disappear-or-delete-your-chat-history-regularly)" we read: > If you are going to uninstall a chat app, first delete messages and then remove the app. This will make sure that the messages are deleted and won't stay forever in your or other people's devices. Many applications, including Signal at the time of writing, has a threshold after which messages deleted by the sender cannot be deleted from the recipients' devices.
