Encryption in Android 10 devices

The instructions for full device encryption when using Android 10 is somewhat confusing.

On one side, readers are informed that in Android 10+ one may have to use file encryption. On the other, the user is instructed to check and enable full device encryption.

Moreover, since the context earlier was about external storage devices, i.e. USB memory sticks, SD cards and the similar, the shift to the phone device is also confusing.

We need to clearly specify whether what's at hand are storage devices, or portable computing/comms devices (phones and tabs, soon watches too), and clear the contradicting prose.
