Is there a PPA for installing newer versions on Ubuntu?
Please provide the following details:
- screenkey version: 0.9
-
built from source, or -
installed from: Ubuntu apt-get
Issue:
I'm able to build Screenkey from source on Ubuntu 20.04 and that works great! I actually made a short video on how to do that to help folks out: https://youtu.be/Heqd_oV77N0.
However if I follow the installation instructions from the official packages section on the website (sudo apt-get install screenkey
) I get an old version of screenkey (version 0.9
). I assume this is something that would be resolved with a PPA, but it wasn't clear to me if one exists. Is there a PPA that can be used to install the 1.4
version of Screenkey on Ubuntu? Thanks!
