## Description I know you know this limitation already, but there is no issue open to track it (since the merge request !94 was merged in disabled-by-default state), so I am opening one. Flare currently does not support operating as a primary device. Merge request !94 implements this partially, but the option is hidden from the UI due to open issues. Since my PinePhone is my only smartphone, this is a blocker for me to be able to use Flare at all. I need support for registering a new Signal account and using it as a primary device. To be honest, I could live without support for linking secondary devices to Flare-as-primary-device. It would mean I would not be able to use Signal Desktop on the computer and link it to Flare, but it would still be better than not being able to use Flare or Signal (yes, I have tried Axolotl; it does not work at all for me) at all. Other than the computers (desktop and notebook), I have no other devices that could operate as secondary devices to begin with. So I would suggest enabling support for primary device mode in the UI even if it does not yet support linking secondary devices to it.
