Move away from Gitlab

Idea is to move away from gitlab to have bigger groups as gitlab currently limits to 5 persons per group.

Evaluate:

• Do we need to move? Do we need private repos? How many people should own the code? What are minimum requirements?
• What alternatives (github, codeberg, forgejo, etc) are there?
