xsane scan view window dimensions and zoom
When a scan is performed, the scan view window does not seem to be saved from invocation to invocation. Additionally, if the scan window is maximised then closed, new scan view windows are also very large despite reducing thir size before closing. This continues until xsane is restarted. Surely, it would make sense for xsane to remember the size and position from the previous scan, and maybe save those settings in the settings file for the next invocation.
Also it is noted that the default of 100% zoom is rarely actually useful. There are at least two options:
- Set the zoom level to be whatever is required to get the full scan image in the frame, or
- Save the zoom setting so that it persists for subsequent scans and saved in the settings file.
